The Complete Marriage

Many couples fall in love, marry, and assume that the job is completed. They tend to feel that everything else will work out automatically. But hardly anything could be further from the truth. A successful marriage does not come spontaneously or by chance. Instead, a happy marriage-the complete marriage- involves two people working out small difficulties as well as the big ones.
We used ladder to illustrate growth in the marriage relationship. The two upright sides of the ladder stand for the husband and wife, and its rung represents something that draws and holds them together in inseparable companionship. The lowest rung is physical attraction, and the highest rung, pure love for God. Each rung of the ladder depends on the other rungs, and thus all become important in order to maintain the unity of the ladder of a complete marriage.

Valentine's Day Color

I See Red!

It's the color for the season and for good reasons. Red is an emotionally intense color that stimulates heart to beat faster and hastens breathing. wearing red makes you noticeable and look heavier. In decorating, red is commonly used as an accent color.
The color red has been used to signify many things to different cultures and people. Take a look at some of its symbols:

. For the ancient Romans, a red flag signaled battle.
. Stop signs, stoplights, brake lights and fire equipment are painted red because of its high visibility.
. When the Bolsheviks overthrew the Russian tsar in 1917, they used the red flag as their symbol. Eventually it became the color of communism.
. In South Africa, red is the color of mourning.
. In China red is the color of good luck and it used as a holiday and wedding color.

Making Long Distance Relationships Work

In the global village we live in, sometimes long distance relationships can't be avoided. No doubt it takes a lot more work and effort to make it work. Thank God technology has made a way to bridge the miles. If you have a long distance
relationship, employ these tips to keep you connected:

1. Set phone dates and keep them as if they were physical dates. Make sure that you give 100% attention to your partner during the call and maximize the time you have. If you both have Internet access, you can use program like yahoo messenger that allows you to do voice chat for free.(http://messenger.yahoo.com/)

2. Take time to write meaningful emails as often as you can. Send as many short ones during the day just to say that your partner is on your mind. but don't neglect to write long, serious one too that express the depth of your emotions and reveal what's on your mind.

3. There's nothing better than receiving a no-occasion gift. surprise your partner with snail mail by sending her or him token gifts or even expensive ones.
You could save a life.

STROKE: Remember The 1st Three Letters....S.T.R .

My friend sent this to me and encouraged me to post it and spread the word. I agree. If everyone can remember something this simple, we could save some folks.

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:
During a party, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. (they offered to call ambulance)

They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00pm , Ingrid passed away.)
She had suffered a stroke at the party. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today.

Some don't die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead. It only takes a minute to read this...

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke...totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE

Remember the '3' steps, STR . Read and Learn!
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster..
The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions :

S * Ask the individual to SMILE .
T * = TALK. Ask the person to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (eg 'It is sunny out today').
R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS .

If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call the ambulance and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher..

NOTE : Another 'sign' of a stroke is
1. Ask the person to 'stick' out their tongue.

2. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke.

A prominent cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

….and it could be your own…...

My Classmate, My Dentist

When I was in high school i have a friend named NORLYN BAJENTING, she is my class mate too. After graduating from high school i don't have any news or updates about her maybe because we studied in different schools. Until last year October 2009, me and my family were having our vacation to my grand ma's house in Digos, it happened that i had a toothache that time and its not tolerable anymore, i decided to consult it to a dentist. Since I am not so familiar with the best dental clinic in Digos, i asked my neighbor about it, and then she referred to me to Dra. Bajenting, I thought that the dentist she mentioned to my is relative of my friend in high school. But i was wrong because that dentist in my classmate before...She did well on my teeth problems... she is a good dentist...Until now even her clinic is far Davao City i keep on visiting her monthly for my dental check up.. Good one I found her. :-)

"The key"
We all know that the crowning glory for us women is our hair. And the key of leading you to that crowning glory is what so called hairstyle... Most of us were into a certain of hairstyle depending on face shape, others are following on whats in the fad...
I have some tips of hairstyles that may suits to you... if you have chubby face and curly hair, better to straighten your hair and put a slashed sided bangs. For those who have oval or square shape of face the best is layered cut and sided bangs too... And for those who wants a seductive look better to have a big curls..
Before cutting out your hair, always remember that your face shape, your hair type, is appropriate for the hairstyle you desire...

"DRESS to IMPRESS"
Most of women of different countries used to wear t -shirts, pants, short pants to make feel comfortable and easy to manage. Before, i really don't like to wear cocktail dresses or even casual dresses too, I'm not used to it and it makes me feel uncomfortable. Until last year when i had an invitation from my friend who celebrated her 18th birthday, I am forced to wear cocktail dress that time, the dress was so nice, at first I felt difficulties on wearing it but my friends told me that if i were to carry it with poise, it will make me look more beautiful..my hubby also noticed it..:-) . from that event, i gained self confident to wear dresses... For this year 2010, I am starting to search and collect pictures of designs on dresses and I will show it to my dressmaker so that she will make a good fit for me.
Above designs are from Uttam Dresses.

"TATTOO"
I decided to put a tattoo on my body. I collected some designs bur still continue searching for more.. more designs more choices. Some people says that you're just only putting dirt in your skin if you have it. But for me, its not! i believe that tattoo is a form of art. Make a design or image that will capture as a key part to your personality or interests. for others, they put tattoos on thier body because they consider it as thier lucky charm.

(A piece of trivia)
The history of the art of tattooing has its roots in the ancient times. The word "Tattoo" has originated from the Tahitian term "Tatu" or "Tatau" which means mark or strike. In fact tattoo is a very popular forms of art through which people used to put on decorative marks on thier skin, and they still do so, all over the world.
(A piece of advice)
Whatever your reason for getting a tattoo, one thing is certain; "THINK BEFORE YOU INK"
